The Stevie Ray’s Comedy Troupe creates hilarious improv comedy based on suggestions you call out from the audience! Watch the show in a casual, relaxed atmosphere with servers who will bring drinks, appetizers or a full meal from the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres Main Theatre menu. Improvisation, or “improv,” is just like what you see on the hit TV show, “Whose Line is it Anyway?” Our improv comedy is fast-paced and slap-your-knee funny. You can either play along and call out your ideas during the show or sit back and just watch the comedy unfold in front of you.
Stevie Ray’s unique style of improv comedy includes jokes, sketches and music, so there is something for everyone in your party. And don’t worry about being embarrassed in front of your date, your in-laws or yourself – Stevie Ray’s is proud to offer clean comedy. We believe that a show for adults doesn’t have to be raunchy to be funny.
Are you celebrating a birthday, anniversary or special get-together? Tell the box office about it when you make your reservation or slip the hostess a note when you arrive and we’ll work it into the show. The guest of honor just might end up performing improv with the troupe! This is the perfect time to pull out your cell phone and get a video to share with friends and family for years to come.
There is no age limit for this show, but audiences should be appropriate for PG-13 material.
Each show is 2 hours in length with 1 intermission.
Dinner entree service ends at 8pm, but appetizers, desserts and beverages are available throughout the evening.
So, if you are tired of mean-spirited comedy, you will leave a Stevie Ray’s improv comedy show feeling good and talking about your favorite parts of the show with your fellow guests all the way home. With hundreds of thousands of audiences who have left our shows with sore cheeks from laughing, it is no wonder that Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret has been a Twin Cities favorite for nearly 30 years.
