About the show
Featuring Mick Sterling & Wayne Anthony
Experience the horn-driven power of vocal jazz rock with a top-tier band performing hits like “Spinning Wheel,” “Make Me Smile,” and “What Is Hip”—a soulful, high-energy tribute to a revolutionary era.
“Frontmen Wayne Anthony, Mick Sterling & Scottie Bahr commanded the stage with charisma and chemistry, trading soulful leads and driving harmonies that kept the crowd completely engaged. Their energy was contagious – the kind that pulled even the most reserved listeners out of their seats.
Wayne Anthony was particularly impressive in his versatility. Beyond his powerhouse vocals, he moved effortlessly between drums and other percussion instruments, infusing each song with texture and rhythm. Having previously seen him deliver an uncanny Frank Sinatra performance, I can say with confidence that his talent seems endless – a true Minnesota treasure whose range continues to surprise and delight.”
