Southern Rock & Blues Rock – From Allman Brothers to ZZ Top
Featuring the Fabulous Armadillos
Southern Rock combined blues, boogie, country, soul and Western swing with rock & roll and arguably helped revitalize the rock music genre in the early ’70s. All of these groups shared southern geography and groove, but their individual styles were all their own. Each bringing their own ingredients to the Southern stew. We are bringing in some great special guests adding to our own “stew” to play songs from Southern Rock groups like the Allman Brothers, 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws and Lynyrd Skynyrd. We’re also also taking a slight turn and going deeper down the Blues Rock road with bands ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Bonnie Raitt. Get ready to get your groove on and your soul moved by Southern Rock and Blues Rock from the Fabulous Armadillos.
