To Our Ticketed Guests:

We are so happy to be welcoming you back and are doing our best to make responsible decisions to keep you and our staff as safe as possible – to ensure that Chanhassen Dinner Theatres (CDT) can remain open to entertain you. All of these safety protocols have helped us to keep moving forward during a pandemic. With that, we are updating our requirements.

Vaccination Update: CDT is now requiring that ticket holders (aged 12 and above) be fully vaccinated by November 15, 2021, or provide proof of negative test result (FDA approved test) taken within 72 hours of attendance. Exceptions to this policy will apply to ticket holders under age 12. Our employees are being held to the same standards.

This policy goes into effect for all CDT performances effective November 15, 2021.
(Main Stage, Concert Series, Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret)

CDT ticket holders will need the following:

  • Physical vaccination card or a photo of the card on a mobile device -or- proof of a negative COVID-19 test result. (We will accept several forms of documentation. More info to come.)
  • Mask securely covering the nose and mouth (no bandanas or neck gaiters).
  • A ticket for a Chanhassen Dinner Theatres’ performance.

As of November 15th, CDT will be open to capacity without social distancing. According to your reservation, you may be sharing tables with others you do not know. Masks are a requirement for all guests regardless of vaccination status or age. Masks are required to be worn over your nose and mouth, throughout the building, including at your table/in your seats (when not eating or drinking) and throughout the entire performance.

Ticket holders not in compliance with these policies will not be admitted. If you are unable to attend a performance because you are sick, experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have been exposed to COVID-19, or don’t meet the requirements outlined above, you may call the Box Office at 952-934-1525 to exchange your tickets or to request a refund.

The health and safety of our staff, artists, audiences and guests continues to be our top priority. These policies are subject to change based on evolving city, state, and federal guidelines and will remain in effect going forward and until further notice.

Once again, thank you for helping us to keep our community safer. Please visit our website at for this information and further updates so you know what to expect. We look forward to entertaining you soon!
